My Dreams are coming true.

My peeps, you are awesome!  I got fan mail.  I am so excited.  Tomorrow is the big day, so I will post a photo with all my fan mail!  I want to send a shout out to Max and his parents.  I loved your handprint.  It really made me smile.  You mom did a great helping you trace...My other favorite part of my day was when Jiana and James came to visit me.  Jiana gave me great birthday hugs and played an awesome game of chase with me.

It was an easy day at TeaRose...lots of previews though which means that I did some studying.  You know, dogs need to check out new poses and different lighting techniques.  I read up on a few issues of Professional Photographer magazine.  I read some great articles about children and senior portraits.

For those of you wondering...Marley and Me: The Puppy Years (my present from my aunt Cinnabun and Uncle John) was FANTASTIC!  I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie.  It kept me entertained while my aunt edited wedding photos.  That movie was great, but Izzy's movie rocks!  Check it out at my link. Izzy Movie.

Talk to you tomorrow...Thanks for a fun day!

Birthday Celebration No. 1

That's right my friends...I was so surprised today to celebrate my birthday with all my family.  I walked in to my Grandma's house and smelled lasagna, saw presents, and saw a very awesome cake!  I want to give a shout out to my aunt Cinnabun for the cool cake with bones on it!  I haven't ever seen such beauty...the pink icing, the white bones, and then there was that decor on the top of the cake.  Hmmmm that was just simply white fluffiness!

I got some really cool gifts for the start of  my birthday.  My great aunt Cathy bought me ICECREAM that doesn't melt.  How cool is that?  The only problem is it tastes just a little funny and it makes a squeaking sound.  Now I can have icecream anytime.  Aunt Cathy is the only one that listens every week as I am taunted with the word icecream.

My best friend, Abby really pays close attention to what Izzy likes.  She surprised me with a pack of Chewnola and a really neat mouse toy.   I loved them Ab, I came home and played with my mouse right away.  She also designed me a mural for my birthday.  The bright colorful letters just made my heart sing.  Rapheal has nothing on little Abby...

My aunt Theresa had a party hat on...it might have fallen off before my aunt Kristy snapped it.

My great grandma bought me delicious treats and a neat toy!  I loved them, and had so much fun opening them.  I still sleep with my doggie blankie from you in my crate when my mommy is away.

My Uncle John and Aunt Cinnabun went green this year...by green, I mean cash!  My day off tomorrow is going to be spent buying the new Marley and Me Pups movie and then sitting in my yellow chair with my paws propped watching it.  Heaven would be if my aunt let me eat a chewnola while I watched the movie!

My dad got me some cool toys.  I thought when I hid the Guinness hat that my dad would be cooler....instead he traded it in for a pawprint dunce hat???  Dad really, you are embarrassing me!  My work friends and employees read this.

My grandma got in on the hat action too!  My grandpap hid some minty bones in my toys just for fun.  I could smell them-even under a few of my gifts!

Aunt Kristy got me a very cool Snoopy bowl.  One for my house and one for my studio.

Here's some "live feed of my celebration"

It was a great day.  Remember send me the fan mail to TeaRose Photography...I'm going to post a photo on my birthday of me and all my cards!  Good night all, dream of minty bones.

Taking my job?

Today was a bit rough at TeaRose.  I thought since my mom owned the place that my job as an assistant was secure.  Hmmmm, today I feel as though my job security was threatened!  I can see that shocked look on your face already peeps...yep that is the way I feel.  Your face looks much like little Kevin McCallister (yep you got it HOME ALONE) AHHHHHHHHH!

The worst part of all of this was that my replacement isn't even one year old!  That's right people a cute little baby.  Don't even fall for that trick...that's what he wants you to do.  He can bat those pretty blue eyes all he wants and eat his puffs...but it's just not working with Izzy.

My mom and aunt (and grandpap) want to enter "The Candyman" (That's the baby's photo) in competition...hmmmm if you all want the prize, you should enter the little white beauty. (That is what I titled my own print-since no one titled me!)  It really put me over the edge to see him driving my wheels on my mom's lap.  I've been employed here since the beginning people, and do I have wheels?  Did I get to drive today?  NO!  Next week, I'll come to work and he will have his own parking space.

Anyway, I met Jess today and she was so much fun.  I was still a bit grumpy, and I really can't blame it all on the baby.  I was excited to meet her though and she was so nice to me.  She scratched me behind the ears and everything.  Check out our photos together.

Hi Jess, I think I like you!

That's right Jess, I love attention.

Heading out!

Did someone say ICECREAM?

Good Night my peeps!  Something special is happening in 5 days.  That's right, it's my birthday!  Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

I'm Dreaming of Fan Mail

Ahhhh, with my rapidly approaching birthday, I'm anxiously awaiting more fan mail to be sent to TeaRose...My birthday is less than one week away.  Reminder, I am going to be whole hand.  My day started out a little stormy today.  My mom turned on a big fan to try and disguise the sound of the thunder-IT DIDN'T WORK.  I felt as though I was being attacked and paced my mom's bedroom.  I was guarding her!  Then before I knew it she was up and in the shower.  I was a little ticked, but then I remembered that she is back to school.  That means I need to start getting up early again ( I like to share breakfast with her).  I'm not really very happy about this new change in my regular schedule.  I went back to bed...my aunt came in and asked me if I was ready to Go?  I put my head back down.  I thought to myself, "The storm has stopped...can't a dog get any rest around here?"  She proceeded to pick me up and put me in the car.  Again, I thought, "More Work?"

I was greeted by 2 seniors today.  I really wasn't much up to working, so I let my employees do the work with Lauren.  She was a serious shopper with cool shoes.  It's a shame I was so tired, we really would have gotten along.  I think her favorite store was Juicy...hmmmmm I like that as long as it refers to a steak. She gave me a great idea for my next centerfold.  Just picture it...Izzy on the green fancy couch, surrounded by PetSmart bags.  I would add a small toy Loofa in my mouth just for effect.

Next I met Leigha.  I tried to be pleasant, but the good Izzy just wasn't coming out today.  I yelled and yelled at my mom for leaving me all day!  I did get to help with one shot and play my game.  I took Leigha's shoe and waited for someone to come and find me.  I knew they would, and yes in case you were wondering, I did get a treat!

Aunt Kristy, did you want MY attention?  I'm kinda busy right now.  Leigha looked so pretty.  I was trying to talk her into getting into the swing....it really did work later.  I loved all her different outfit choices...

Well my peeps, I'm headed home.  I'm very sleepy, and can't wait to curl up on my mom's pillow.
Good Night all.

What's Shaking? (Aunt Renee says TeaRose)

Today was interesting.  It all started out smooth and serene, then I got all shook up!  I started out taking photos of a pair of brothers.  I learned how to have manners and be polite from them.  They cleaned up the studio so nicely after they were finished getting their photos, boy did that make me happy.  I rewarded them with a dilly bar (well actually my aunt did, and was a bit upset that I didn't get ice-cream too)

While my mom and my aunt were outside, my aunt Renee and I were in our office.  Actually Aunt Renee, it's my office, but since you are faster on the computer, I share!  She looked at me and asked, "Izzy, did you feel that?  The walls shook.  Should we run?"  I very calmly looked up at her and suggested that she join me under the desk.  I said, "Don't worry Aunt Renee, my mom is a teacher and I know what to do.  I also watch Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, I know how to handle emergency situations!"  Aunt Renee ignored my advice and called Aunt Kristy in.  She asked if something hit TeaRose....there were several things wrong with the scenario!  First, she ASKED aunt Kristy.  She never has a clue! Second, if something hit TeaRose, there would be a hole somewhere.  I didn't sense a hole!  Anyway, we learned that there was an earthquake!  I googled it and learned that we got the aftershock in Western PA!  WOW!  That was my first earthquake, and hopefully my last.

After the shaking of the earth, I met a new friend.  I'm sorry that I was a bit grouchy Allison.  I needed my nap (it was INTERRUPTED by the quake).  Anyway, she was the S-W-E-E-T-E-S-T girl ever!  I was just so ornery.  Check out our pics!

TRY #1
This is me NOT Listening to my mom.  Talk to the TAIL mom cause the ears aren't working!

TRY #2 Okay, I'm facing the camera...but I'm snacking on my treats!  Still not Looking!

TRY# 3...I GIVE in, but I'm still chewing.

This is my friend's real picture, you know when I wasn't pestering her!

I'm off to dream of minty bones shaking in their container.  If they shake enough, will they fall out of the container into my mouth? Let's Hope.

PS...Only 7 Days till the Izzy Birthday Celebration...keep the fan mail a comin'

My Ritas, My Store, My Park

Listen my peeps, every once in a while a day happens where everything is perfect!  That was my today.  First I got to have some Rita's Ice.  Mmmmmmm loved it!  It was Bubblicious.  Since my mom doesn't let me chew gum this was a big treat.

Then I got to go shopping for my upcoming birthday.  I picked out some really cool toys, but I didn't get to see what we bought.  Can't wait to open my presents, but my birthday isn't until next Wednesday...that's right everyone, write it on your calendar.  I do like to get cards you know.  I open them and run around with them!  Fan mail wouldn't hurt either.  You can address it to my work address- TeaRose Photography Below you can see me in the aisle at PetSmart.  I was browsing, checking out the doggie beds.  I don't understand why they sell those...I certainly don't sleep in a 'dog bed' I much prefer the human bed.

Finally, we went to my park (Twin lakes) and I got to walk around both lakes!  I checked out all the dogs there, drank out of each fountain, and ran into my friend Mia!  She smiled for a photo with me!  I love her sense of humor.  She was riding a cool bike there, I wish that I could learn to ride a bike.  I could pedal with my front paws...but my balance isn't so good  and I'm not sure that they make helmets with ear holes.

My Ritas, My Store, and My Park...I'm in Doggie Heaven.  Back to work tomorrow.  Good Night my Peeps, can't wait to tell of my adventures tomorrow.

PS. I'm not kidding about the fan mail!

Llama??? What is that?

Today my mom left really early.  She made me go outside to potty before I was even ready to crawl out of bed!  Then she came home all excited to tell me about LLAMAS.  She said that I reminded her of a llama.  What mom, seriously, we are the same color!  We do walk on four legs, but I don't spit!  My aunt told me that none of the llamas spit on her today, but Mia the llama did give her three kisses.  That just made my blood boil, no one else is allowed to kiss my aunt-especially not a llama.  Who did she think she was. The best part of the story is that after the llama llkissed my aunt, she started sneezing uncontrollably and had itchy watery eyes...I told her she should demand an allergy test.  Hmmmmmm could she be allergic to llama llkisses?  How convenient.

This cutie (that's what my dad says) is named Geves.  I think he especially likes him because of his name-that's his nickname too.

This llama and I are making the same face!  I sympathize with you buddy,  I try to ignore my mom too.  Mom, DO NOT get any ideas, I do not want that thing around my nose.

This particular llama llfriend is so cute.  My mom loved his ears.  I don't know what is so special about his ears, I do that with mine when I hear the word icecream.  I just can't make them any longer, but mom you could paint them a different color if you wanted.

After hearing about the llamas, I had to wonder why I was not invited...then it hit me.  I could not have participated because I could so jump over hurdles and walk through a tent.  I could let my mom lift my hind legs (without kicking her).  I'm not really sure about the pack on my back-Eskies are a little too delicate for carrying things on their backs.  I could have been the best of show!

Everywhere I look, I see SENIORS!!!

But listen my peeps, I LOVE IT!  Seniors are my favs because they let me in.  Almost all of them let me in on the actions.  I love checkin out the props, the poses, and most of all the outfits! Yesterday and today...only seniors!  We started with Rebecca.  She told me I was Beee-u-tiful!  I looked just like Morgan...you know, I might want to meet Morgan someday.  I'm kinda sad that I didn't get a photo op with Becca, but I did get lots of attention from her and her mom and sister.  Her photos are very pretty!  I loved Becca's blue eyes, I'm wishin my eyes were blue too!

Then I met Travis...he had the coolest guitar!  Loved the Yin Yang.  My paws could've showed him a thing or two about the guitar.  I was thinking...a little Jagger, a little Hendrix, Clapton, or a little Elvis?  I watched my mom, dad. Aunt Kristy, and Aunt Val play guitar hero, so I have confidence that I could do it!

Today...Jake, if only I could play that many instruments!

Let me tell you about this photo....Aunt Kristy, what were you thinking?  Why would you snap a photo when I had a bone in my mouth?  I look ridiculous!  This is me and my first senior of the day!  My mom taught his little sister when she was in fourth grade...she knew me as a wee pup...just arriving at my mom's pad.  Just learning how to use the potty outside, etc etc.  So you see, this is even more embarassing to have my mouth full in this photo-you know because she has known me since I was a mere 4 pounds.

I wish that I could fit my paws in pumps like Kelsey today!  These photos are me and my friend Kelsey.  She was kind enough to allow me in two photos.  Actually I just kept placing myself in them, and she smiled at me so sweetly, I just want to lick her face.  In the top photo, Aunt Kristy, seriously?  First I'm eating, then my butt?  If only I had knows, I would have washed behind my tail.  It was all good until Aunt Kristy told me these photos weren't about me...do you see my irritated look as I left the backdrop?  What?  Look at her face...SHE WANTED ME in her pics!  No yearbook is complete without my ears!

Wow, I kinda surprised Emily in this photo!  Going somewhere?  Everytime my mom gets suitcases out, I end up at Grandmas for a visit!  My paws are staying on these suitcases, that is for sure.  Em, maybe you will take me with you since my whole family left me at home last week while they were on vacation!  By the way, I loved the earrings.  I wonder how those big tear drops would look in my ears.  What do you think?

Well good night my peeps.  I'm going to get some rest...I'm dreaming of new poses.

Congrats to Aunt Val!

Alrighty, my peeps.  I'm back!  It's been awhile since I wrote about TeaRose because my mom and my aunt went on a mini-vacation with my best friend and my dad and they LEFT ME HOME!  I would have enjoyed being away too, but I guess someone had to watch over my aunt Renee.  It was a big job, but I did it.  We had lots of work to do.  We edited pictures and talked on the phone so much.  I helped her fill all the orders and ran them out to the customers as they came in.

I'd like to tell you about the mini-vaca and all my presents, but they decided to make it a summer stop...so I can't be giving away clues here!  My aunt and my mom photographed two weddings the weekend they came home...it is been a bit crazy. They also took photos of the cutest little girl.  She was so nice to me, she gave me lots of cookies.

About the weddings...my mom and aunt Kristy drove to Deep Creek, MD for my aunt Val's wedding.  I didn't get to go, although they told me there were random dogs running through the ceremony!  I could have protected everyone if only they would have taken me. It might have gotten a little noisy during the ceremony with me yelling at those dogs!  I'm glad the girls got to go...they told me all about the nice families and relaxing atmosphere of the lake.  It was nice that they got to get away from all the hustle of Greensburg.  I was a little jealous that I didn't get to eat Mrs. M's cupcakes.  The homemade raspberry filling left my mom and aunt Kristy wanting a second!  They kept saying, "I really wanted another, but I didn't want to look like a pig."  I told them that it was silly that they didn't just eat another-who cares if you look like a pig.

Here are a few of the cool pictures from the day.  Only my aunt Val ( the tree hugger? LOL!) would want to drive away on a jet ski!

Well peeps, I will talk later.  Have a good night, RUFF! It is great to be back!

Just a reminder how cute I am!

Happy Birthday to You...

Today was an adventure at TeaRose.  I listened to a preview with a senior friend and two photo shoots with little kids.  I really didn't need to make them smile and from all the noise, I decided to just stay under my Aunt Renee's desk.  Their photos were so great, but some are surprises, so I don't want to spoil the surprise by posting the photos on my blog.  Then there was my best friend's Super Star Party!  Yes, it was the day I had been waiting for for a long time.

This is my and my best buddy in the whole world.  She looks so pretty don't you think?

I was so excited as I watched the studio transform into every little girl's dream place.  You see during parties, the lights go down, the music goes up, and the children get fancy.  They all get their hair done however they want it done, and then they get make up.  By the time they are ready, the girls look so fabulous.  I usually stay in my work room because I get nervous around lots of people like that.  Through the door, I heard squeals of excitement as the girls posed for glamour shots.  They always have pizza (tonight I got to share some) and cake...YUM!  There were no minty bones at this party, but I kept reminding myself that it wasn't MY party.

All the girls get to take home their own photo souvenir.  Let me tell you, some of the outfits that the girls put together would give Giorgio Armani ideas!  Check them out!
This is me and my wand.  I was waving it to make sure that Abby had the best party ever.  I just know it worked!

This is me and my sunglasses.  I wanted to be just like the girls.  I couldn't get them to fit right, but I looked good anyway.  The color orange really works with my eyes, don't you think?

I'm sure that Ab had a great birthday, and I was glad that my studio was a part of making her so happy.  Thanks to Ab with and E...I didn't have to work so hard because she helped set up and clean up.  I was home before 11 thanks to her help!  Good Nite my peeps.  I don't mind if you look at my photos again.  I won't tell anyone!

Rain, Rain Go Away...

Rain, rain go away...go away so that Izzy can play.  I was singing that in my head all day long.  We were supposed to have senior photos today, but the rain scared them away.  I really don't blame them, I don't like the way my hair looks in the rain.  My tail gets a bit too curly and it looks like I have an 80s perm.  I certainly don't like to sit in the grass either.

Even though it was rain, it didn't scare my lil buddy away.  He was just about the cutest thing I have ever seen.  Although I was a little green when my Aunt Kristy was fawning a little too much calling him "the cutest little baby."  I THOUGHT I WAS THE CUTEST LITTLE BABY!  Did you forget, Aunt Kristy.  I thought... just wait until it's just you and me...that's when Izzy will strike.  In three weeks, my mommy heads back to school, at that point, you're MINE.  I will steal every 90210 DVD you own, eat every goldfish cracker in the house, and record over your favorite Reba on DVR.  Yes that's right the Halloween one...you know that one when Barbara Jean freaks out about watching all the CSI.  It's a goner!

Back to the baby.  He was cute although for his little bum photos he pooped on the blankie!  Seriously?  I was potty trained way younger than 2 weeks.  White Lace and Clyde (my doggie parents) taught me manners.  I told my mom, fire me if you want, but Izzy doesn't DO baby poop.  There are not enough minty bones in the USA to get me to clean that up.  Here are some of my favorites from the photo shoot!

Well my peeps, it is off to dream of pieces of chicken tonight.  I'm going through minty bone withdrawal.  My gramma decided that she is rationing them.  What's that about?  Just get more!  Good Night All.
