Overtime Reward

It was tough keeping my aunt Kristy and aunt Renee in line yesterday.  I told them over and over again...NO OVERTIME, but they didn't listen, so we stayed.  I waited so patiently that my aunt Kristy took my to PetSmart to spend my extra money. I love when my aunt babysits, one little sad look and we get in the car and head to the store.  She's not like my mom-with her there is really NO TOY LIMIT!  My mom only allows me one per visit.  SHE IS AWESOME.  I bought a lobster and two little toys as my reward.  I was a bit downcast after the trip because they quit carrying my minty bones.  What's a dog to do?  I dream about the light minty taste of those bones, and now I'm going to have to rely on the UPS man to bring them to me!  I yell at him...does this mean a change of heart for Izzy?

Just looking at this photo is enough to make my heart skip a beat and my mouth to start watering.
After my mom and dad returned from their date, we all had a great chicken dinner.  Mom made pesto chicken over pasta in a light pesto sauce. I had chicken and pasta minus the pesto.  I like things plain especially my chicken!  For a big surprise, we went to Twin Lakes to meet up with my best friend Abby.  We heard a band and everything.  I felt like such a big girl playing at my favorite place.

Here is a photo of me getting a big drink!  My mom does take photos with her cell phone sometimes, she doesn't like to post them on my work blog-but I just remind her that even the cake boss probably buys cupcakes at the grocery store sometimes...so please, don't mind my cell pics, I am just so cute and my mom doesn't always have her massive fancy camera.

Lovin' my park!
I'm excited for Sunday!  I love Summer Stop days...here's a clue my peeps, Izzy gets to go today!  Talk to you later.

My day at the DUMP

When I say dump, I know what you're thinking...that's not what I mean peeps.  You'll find out later why my day included the dump...and no, I wasn't looking for my missing raw hide.  These last two days have been busy for me, but the good news is...I have almost left on time two days in a row.  I met lots of new friends.  My friend came in for some pictures...she deserves a modeling job.  She knows just what to do for the camera!  I know that if I keep my ears up, she will find something.  She is so sweet and nice and she talks a lot to me!  I really like her..she makes me smile.  I also met her little brother.  He really like Jioios and was headed there...but he forgot to take me for some pizza pie!

Then I met Gra and her family!  She was as adorable as Izzy.  She loved her great-grand baby so much that I had to remind her to look at the camera for a few.  That's okay, that is my job as a photographer dog...that's why I get paid the big minty bones after all.  Don't these photos just make you smile?

Then there was my trip to the dump.  My mom had a vision with a 6 ft ladder.  The final photo will be cropped in for effect, but for today I just wanted to showcase the dump!  In here are the most smelly things I can think of...most dogs would devour this, however me being a civilized (somewhat spoiled) dog would not find myself eating from the dump.  I much prefer lettuce, broccoli, and carrots.  Even in my appearance on Fear Factor, I didn't make it thought the dumpster challenge.  We really enjoyed Ryan...he was funny and made us laughed a lot!  You looked really cool with your tie by the way.

Today I spent a lot of time in with Aunt Renee.  You see the lil man turning three did some yelling, and that scared me!  I hid under the desk.  He was beating a toy drum...rat tat tat...over and over again in my ears.  I would close my eyes and then I would hear it AGAIN.  The girls decided to put blocks in a barrel...any idea how loud that is in a doggie's ears?  We dogs do have acute hearing you know...I could have heard that ruckus a mile away, let alone a few feet away.  Good thing he is so darn cute.

I got to come home on time and have homemade pizza with my best friend.  I also got to play rummy with my friend!  Tomorrow I'm the big dog at work.  It will be exhausting playing boss since my mom and my dad are going on a date!  Look out Aunt Kristy and Aunt Renee...we will be working by Izzy's rules.  I can be bribed with minty bones and chicken-but LOTS OF IT!  (Mom I have heard the saying 'while the cat is away the mice will play')  Me and my aunts are out of that place at two...you know to head straight to PetSmart and buy me a toy with my overtime pay.  Good night peeps...until tomorrow...TGIS...(Thank Goodness it's Saturday!)

Seniors, Seniors, Seniors

Today was a day for seniors!  I met 2 in one day!  I thought of some new poses that I told the girls about so that they were ready for Alyssa and Taylor.  I wanted something different...kinda like the new toy I got from PetSmart the other day.  It was different, it was a lion with big multi colored hair.  His hair resembled a snow cone and made me extra hungry.

Anyway, back to my day at TeaRose.  My day started out meeting Alyssa, just as I was allowed to come and play...they all went outside!  I stood at the door looking out at my big camouflage buggy driving off into the distance.  I used my best big puppy dog eyes to go for a ride, but I didn't get to go.  Here are a few of Alyssa's gorgeous photos.
I told the girls to take a close up along the fence.  I'm glad to see they listened.

I really wanted to give Alyssa a big doggie smooch, but I resisted.

After awhile my girls became hungry.  I wondered what took so long.  I was so excited to hear the wrapper for cheese!  I was extremely disappointed when the girls had wraps with homemade pesto from Uncle Dom and I had none!  I thought my aunt Kristy could only eat chicken...then I find out that she is allowed turkey.  TURKEY???  This little D-O-G cannot (isn't allowed) have turkey.  I decided that even though I couldn't have turkey, I could still have cheese.  My mom broke it to me that the cheese was Swiss!  Gosh Aunt Kristy this stomach of yours is really an inconvenience for me.  You were my hook up with Land O'Lakes American cheese.  Don't even think I'm eating your Veggie Slices that's more disgusting that Swiss.  Anyway, I guess I looked pathetic because my mom walked me over to grandmas.  Thank goodness she had cheese for me.

When I returned to work after my snack, I met my next friend.  She had hair that was as pretty as mine.  Although, it made me want to go red.  I think that she uses great shampoo like me!  I helped with Tayler's photo shoot today.  I had to watch and make sure that the girls were following my directions with Tayler.

That's right Aunt Kristy-no a little to the left-now, have her sit right there!

I had so much fun with Tayler.

Can I mom, Tayler said that I could!

Don't we look great together?

Alright at that point I realized that it wasn't my day.  I had my cameo and now here are some of Tayler!  She looks great! I especially love the one with the ugly blue thingie that was in the yard!

Well my peeps, Izzy is going home now!  At least it is before 10!  Good Night All.  See you tomorrow for another fun filled day.  I hope I get to eat.

Back to Work

What's up with all of you blog readers? No one is participating in my poll?  Don't you have a guess as to what my favorite treat is, or don't you care???
Can you say no to this face?  Please vote in my poll!!

My TeaRose employees took some great photos today.  I really wasn't allowed to be involved because mom thought I would distract the kids.  I'm usually only allowed out with the big kids....unless they can't get someone to smile, then they call in the big dog!!  Anyway, I was in with Aunt Renee listening to the photo shoot.  I could hear the giggles of the baby as she had her photo taken.  I know that her smiles are so natural because she was so happy!  I loved this cool picture with the blocks.

Isn't she so cute with her blocks?  I just want to lick that little face.

Thanks for not letting me down Aunt Renee.  Before I knew it, the smell of chicken entered my lil' sniffer.  I started sniffin the air to see what else I could smell.  Yum, I detected that there was pasta to go along with my chicken!  I was delighted because I am part Italian.  I devoured my chicken and barked for more and then, with a full belly I did what dogs do best-took a nap.

I was awoken to the sound of a familiar name.  My ears perked when I heard the mention of a famous dog detective-That's right, Scooby Doo.  Our little guy was a huge Scooby fan.  I told him all about my Scooby Snacks and how I love the pizza bites and the Zoink bones!  Just the thought of the Doo made my mouth water for my snacks...oh how I wish that I was already home to eat a few of those.  (You see I hide them in my crate because I am not always in the mood for those).  I heard the buggy go whizzing by and I knew that Brayden must be driving!  You lucky Dog!  I wished that I got to go along on the buggy.  I knew that he would want to drive and I just had a feeling that I wouldn't be able to share, so I stayed inside.  My mom told me that I can drive the buggy any day, I needed to give my new friend Brayden a turn.  I guess I kinda agree-I hate when my mom is right! Braden and his family had an awesome outside photo!

This is such a great photo.  Good job girls.

Well my peeps, it is much to late for this little doggy to be typing.  I'm off to dream of eating a minty bone cake...I wonder if Cinnabun could make that for my birthday!?

My Day Off...Painting and Playing

Hi my peeps, yesterday I had the day off.  I spent it at the park with some of my favs...Abbey and Mia!  We had so much fun running around the park taking cool photos on a hot day.  My dad treated us to ice cream because we were sooooo good.  I had a strawberry ice cream sandwich, my friend Abbey had a jolly rancher ice thingy, and Mia had the coolest bunny Popsicle.  We ate our ice cream under the trees before we went home.  Mia made up a doggie toy store with all my toys.  I thought it was really cool to see all my toys in one big pile...I felt like I was in PetSmart looking up the toy aisle, it was enough to make my tail wag really fast!

Then it started.  My dad always wants to be like me-I mean I am glad that I'm that cool, but dad, you really don't have a tail and a face like mine.  He kinda resembled a horse too...don't really know which he was going for...you decide.

Then they played monkey in the middle...literally!  How silly is that.  I just stood and watched, I just didn't know where to look.  My head felt like a ping pong ball.

After all this playing, I needed to relax in QUIET with no songs...I slept while my friends went to Super Panda, and when they came home we made hand print animals...they looked awesome.  I used my paws to help Mia paint, but I just didn't really want the paint in my paws, so I just helped my buddy.

This is my friend and her hand print penguin.  It is in a very colorful igloo (I gave her the idea of the igloo, it's like mine in the living room)

Summer Stop 7-My Secret Destination

I was excited to head to work today, after all I did get to rest yesterday.  I met the coolest friend today.  My friend Molly came to my studio for my expertise.  She wanted ME to tell her senior story, and boy was I excited.  She and her mom gave me treats and let me sit in on her photo shoot.  I was very good and acted like super dog on the floor just so that I could give the girls some advice.

Here is me whispering a secret to Molly about what to do next.   Of course she listened!

This photo is the final shot!  I love it, Molly! Good Job.

After Molly's photo shoot, my mom, dad, and my aunt went on a secret summer stop that I picked.  I have a craving for delicious grass and I knew that this spot had the best to eat.  Little did I know that it was so hot.  My mom forgot to bring me water, luckily I met a very nice lady from Hershey and she loved me.  She said, "Ooooooh, I just want to get a hold of that fluff ball!"  I was flattered to be referred to as a fluff ball, that meant that my hair was looking fine!  I replied to her "Ruff, ruff, ruff!"  That meant that I needed water.  She told me she had just the thing in her car.  Usually my mom doesn't let me take things from strangers, but seeing as the water was sealed and the lady was really nice, (and my irresponsible mom forgot!) she said okay.  The lady gave me water and a big scratch behind the ears!  It was heavenly.

Thank you, nice lady!  This water was so good.

Me, after my big drink of water.

We really had a great time today.  My dad decided he wanted a photo for his crazy blog. (He copied off of me big time and created a blog the day I did) So he posed for this photo like Tony Soprano...not sure that he looks Italian enough?  but whatever makes him happy.

I decided that since my dad needed a blog photo op, then I DID TOO!  I can't let him have one up on me.  So, I put myself on this bench without a leash.  I am a big girl these days.  I told my aunt that I did not want the Tony look, instead I was going for the famous beagle look.  I wanted to be like my pal Snoopy.  The only thing missing was a little yellow bird on my head...where is that Woodstock when you need him.

My parents stole my idea with the bench!  Seriously? Do they have to do everything I do?  Can't a little doggie just have one chance to be in the limelight without any humans copying?

I suppose their photo was nice...Below we sat at this cute little table.  Dad kept saying ice cream, Izzy where's the ice cream!  Does anybody see any?  I waited at the little table and never got any!

Well, my dad just had to have this photo that is above.  He thought I looked as if I was waiting for food.  I thought in my head, Dad, I never wait for food!  My mom gets it for me right away...but I guess hypothetically this is what I might look like if I was waiting for food.  This shot took about 6 times.  You see right behind me on the ground is my mom, and right in front of me is my aunt taking the photo and my dad getting my attention.  Right behind them is some man in a car watching!  I was totally showing off for him and every time my dad said "Where's the chicken, Izzy?"  I jumped onto the table and went toward him and then we started over.  I wanted to tell the man in the car to head to TeaRose and he could buy a photo of me, since he liked looking at me so much...

Finally, the last photo of the day!

Well peeps, I'm off to bed. It is way to late for a doggie to be awake...I need to go and dream of minty bones.  Until next time...good night!

Catchin some Zzzzzzzzzz...

I heard the alarm this morning, and my heart skipped a beat.  I thought I had to be up...I peeked out one eye and saw lime green pants.  I realized that my mom was leaving, but it was just for Zumba!  I closed that eye and went back to bed.  All day long I was at my house.  I had plenty of time to look out the window.  I hoped my boyfriends would look up and see my doo after my bath.  My mane is looking really pretty lately.  There were not many people out today, I guess it was a little too hot for them too.

Tonight I got to play with my favorite toys. My mom went to a show, so it was dad and me time.  I played with lamb chop, loofa, and my moo cow.  I successfully chewed the squeakers out of each of them.  Oh what fun!  I know I'll be heading back to work tomorrow, but today was a day for Izzy.  It was better than the doggie spa.  I got time to cuddle my fleece blankie from great grandma and everything.  I was in doggie heaven!

This is me on my couch looking out my windows!  I'm so happy.

I got to spend some time with my sister Joey today.  I love to steal her toys and make them my own.  It is all about me!

Barrel of Fun

I got to sleep in today!  My mom let me sleep late, but as soon as she saw that my eyes were open, she took me out to potty in the heat.  Yah Right! Who wants to have to go outside in the 95 degree weather to potty.  I did my stuff as quickly as I could and was back in the door before my mom could blink an eye.  Then it happened-I got a bath!  I love getting scrubbed with baby shampoo.  It makes me smell so pretty...I love to prance around my neighborhood showing off to the boys after my bath.  It makes Koda, Oakly, and Gunner so jealous.  I see them sneaking peaks out their windows as I trot around.

I was excited to go to work today and show Aunt Renee my new look.  I put my flamingo collar on just to show off.  I heard some action while I was in with Aunt Renee and I was so excited to meet my new friend Alexis.  She and her mom and cousin fed me treats and I got to watch her get her photos taken.  I let Alexis borrow my buggy today so that she didn't get too hot!  I was a little sad watching out the door...I wanted to help, but it was too hot for an eskie outside today.  She had some really cool poses in by the pool and I just wanted to help.  Here are some of the pics from today that I liked...

I was so excited when we left the studio and headed home...I should have guessed that the crazies merely went on a dinner break!  Later, my mom and my aunt returned to the studio for ROUND 2.  They filled more frames and ran the monster some more.  I just now have some peace and quiet...My paws are tired from my day, I need to go and rest them in bed.  No more typing!  I actually think I get tomorrow off...my mom mentioned a bridal shower for Auntie Val.  YEAH!  I'll be dreaming of new things to do at TeaRose until I get my paws there again. (Knowing my mom, it will be tomorrow after the shower)  Good Night, my peeps.

My Auntie Kristy

My Auntie Kristy likes to play baby with me all the time.  She is soooo funny.  She loves to sit in the yellow chair with me and she buys me more toys than anyone.  My mom tells her to clean them out all the time but she doesn't listen.  She has really gotten me hooked on 90210 and What I Like About You.  She may not like this post just becuase she looks so cute in the photo.

Aunt Kristy is a really creative photographer.  She is so good with people and puts everyone at ease as soon as they walk in.  Sometimes she needs to remind me to use my manners and not yell as soon as I hear the door bell.  At TeaRose, she is the talker who does all the previews.  Here is my favorite photo of her below.  It's candid because just like chefs don't always eat gourmet, aunt Kristy doesn't always take photos on the backdrops!  Who knows maybe she is getting ready to edit YOUR photos.  (Make sure you notice who is on the computer screen and who is scratching at my aunts arm...I wanted to play baby!)

This is a photo of my two aunts and my mom!  They look so happy because they just ate cake...if you want to be on their good side, bring them cake or cookies.... just bring me some too.

Me and the Crazies

This morning I overheard my mom, "Guess what?  No Zumba tonight and the studio closes early, let's go see a movie."  My aunt Kristy was so excited...I could just see the happiness written on her face.  We left home to go to work and I was preoccupied with thoughts of me in my house all alone!  Yes, I just do not get to be a bachelorette too often.  I had thoughts of Joey and I running around and telling stories.  Well okay, I am exaggerating a bit because Joey and I both stay in crates when my mom isn't home, but I love to sleep in there and I get yogurt dippies before my mom leaves.

Aunt Kristy and my mom had to run to the highschool and set up a table for the weekend.  Here is what it looked like...Thanks to my new friend Lil for all the clear stands!  They looked awesome, and she drove all over looking for them.

Anyway here I am blogging AT THE STUDIO at midnight!  I mean seriously?  Girls?  I told them tonight was not the night to remodel the place.  My crazy mom, aunt Kristy, and grandma took almost every photo off the walls, cleaned the frames, and put new photos in.  Can't a dog get any rest?  I guess I really do have grandpap to thank for tonight's let down.  He insisted that the girls run the "monster" monthly.  In case you are not familiar with TeaRose, the monster is a giant 44 in. printer that rests in the shoot room.  It took my aunts and my mom until now to figure out how to tame that beast.  If only they had asked me.  I read the book the first day, and I could have helped, but seriously why offer when no one asks.  Anyway, now that the monster is tamed and they can print, my mom thought that she was Aristotle or Pythagoras as she was laying out photos to print.  The math that she was doing out loud was making my head hurt.  I kept reminding her she was on summer vacation.

This is me sleeping with the monster!  I'm kinda used to it now.

I really thought my Aunt Kristy would get me out of this mess because when it comes to movies, she is usually a persistent pain, but for some reason tonight she didn't fight.  I tried to get comfy on the floor, but every time I would doze off the the big printer would start up.  It sounded like the Spirit plane that leaves the airport was taking off beside my head.  Had I known this was what my evening would consist of, I would have begged Lil or Aunt Renee to take me home when they left the studio.

I'm finally getting ready to go home to my comfy bed...I took a final walk around the studio to decide if I approved.  I must say, my studio looks great.  The photos that I picked out of my friends Lola, Henry, and Spanky look so nice next to me on the wall.  I also put some really nice photos in the preview room.  I have a few more picked out for tomorrow.  TeaRose looks great, and I can't wait for all of you to see it!

This is me and my friend Shamu having sweet dreams of getting a day off.

This is me hard at work

It's exhausting coming home from work and blogging, but someone has to do it!  Here is me hard at work.
I had to ask my mom three times to take my photo.  I have the phone next to me in case I get a call from my agent or Steven Spielberg for my movie op...

So much fun at Linn Run

Our most recent summer stop was my most favorite by a land slide!  I loved everything about Linn Run from the shaded trees at our arrival to watching all the kids slide on the slippery slide.  The woods were so nice and cool even though the day was hot.  I immediately went to the water and got a big drink.  Wouldn't you know my mom actually thought to bring me water on a day when we head to a stream filled with natural water that she let me walk in.  I really didn't need the water bottle today, mom.

Abby was a bit scared of the water at first.  I showed her that there was nothing to be afraid of and walked right in!  It was freezing on my little pads of my feet and I was so surprised that I kind of froze.  I lifted one paw out of the water like I do in the snow to warn it up.  I looked at my mom hoping she would rescue me, but all she did was snap a photo!
Mom, can't you lend a doggie a paw and get me out of the freezing water?

I trotted back the path and lots of children were walking toward me with towels and bathing suits.  They had huge rings that looked like giant donuts...I love donuts, I wondered if they tasted as good as the little ones.  I also was curious why I didn't have to wear my bathing suit or bring my towel and I wondered where we were going.  After a few minutes, we got to this giant slippery rock.
I said, "Don't worry Abby, I'll go first"  Even though I was scared, I didn't want to show it...so I just went in feet first so my best friend wouldn't be scared.  If Scooby can do it for Shaggy, then I can do it for Abby...Aunt Kristy had Izzy snacks in her pocket.  I just knew if I was a good girl, then I would get a snack.

Abby got the hang of it quickly thanks to me.

Once Abby got in, we just couldn't get her out...I loved watching her having so much fun.  Seeing your best friend happy, just warms a doggy's heart.  I felt so proud.

Abby and I can't wait to go back here!

Even the big kiddos had fun...I guess I could share a few of them...if you don't want to see, just go find more photos of me, you can skip this part if you want.

Aunt Theresa whined as Uncle Mark carried her across...she wasn't in the mood to get wet.

Fun with the girls...
