I Ruv Fall!

Hi My Peeps,

It seems like ages since I have been on to tell you my side of the story at my studio!  You see, my mom went back to school.  I get a little sad when that happens...I have to tell her good bye in the morning after our walk around the block and I have to share her with the pint sized students!  I prefer to have her to myself, making me doggie breakfast and lounging with me at the house.  I promise I'm back on track now that I'm a bit adjusted again!  Things at my studio have been great (sorry mom, the girls can do it without you all day long!)  Aunt Kristy has been trying to keep my busy-she's been driving me to PetSmart...and yes she believes I am a small child.  I highly recommend the flick- Spooky Buddies!  It really got me into the Halloween Spirit!

This is my costume a few years ago!  Am I not the cutest?  Who wouldn't want to be stung by the Izzy Bug?

This is the Izzy inspired pumpkin that my mom and Abby (my BFF) made me last year!  I love looking at the ears!

This is me on Halloween last year. I will allow kids and fur-kids into my studio for Halloween!  I don't mind taking photos for the holiday season.

I am sooooooooo excited for the Halloween Spook-tacular!  I wonder if I am getting a monster manicure from Aunt Melissa?  I am imagining a purple feather in with my white beautiful hair.  I have my costume all ready...shhhhhhhhh, I'm not telling what I am yet, but in a few days, I'll post a few Halloween pics for all of you to see.  Here's a clue-they are BIG, STINKY, and they YAWN a lot...no dad, I'm not you this Halloween.  Check out my aunt Renee's latest composite.

I helped my mom and my aunt (and dad) decorate the studio for fall!  It looks so awesome and smells like cinnamon pumpkins.  I can't wait for you all to see it!  I also learned that my gramma went shopping today.  She bought cool ribbon and special glue to put the finishing touches on the fridge magnets that we are giving away!

See you all Soon!

What's Shaking? (Aunt Renee says TeaRose)

Today was interesting.  It all started out smooth and serene, then I got all shook up!  I started out taking photos of a pair of brothers.  I learned how to have manners and be polite from them.  They cleaned up the studio so nicely after they were finished getting their photos, boy did that make me happy.  I rewarded them with a dilly bar (well actually my aunt did, and was a bit upset that I didn't get ice-cream too)

While my mom and my aunt were outside, my aunt Renee and I were in our office.  Actually Aunt Renee, it's my office, but since you are faster on the computer, I share!  She looked at me and asked, "Izzy, did you feel that?  The walls shook.  Should we run?"  I very calmly looked up at her and suggested that she join me under the desk.  I said, "Don't worry Aunt Renee, my mom is a teacher and I know what to do.  I also watch Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, I know how to handle emergency situations!"  Aunt Renee ignored my advice and called Aunt Kristy in.  She asked if something hit TeaRose....there were several things wrong with the scenario!  First, she ASKED aunt Kristy.  She never has a clue! Second, if something hit TeaRose, there would be a hole somewhere.  I didn't sense a hole!  Anyway, we learned that there was an earthquake!  I googled it and learned that we got the aftershock in Western PA!  WOW!  That was my first earthquake, and hopefully my last.

After the shaking of the earth, I met a new friend.  I'm sorry that I was a bit grouchy Allison.  I needed my nap (it was INTERRUPTED by the quake).  Anyway, she was the S-W-E-E-T-E-S-T girl ever!  I was just so ornery.  Check out our pics!

TRY #1
This is me NOT Listening to my mom.  Talk to the TAIL mom cause the ears aren't working!

TRY #2 Okay, I'm facing the camera...but I'm snacking on my treats!  Still not Looking!

TRY# 3...I GIVE in, but I'm still chewing.

This is my friend's real picture, you know when I wasn't pestering her!

I'm off to dream of minty bones shaking in their container.  If they shake enough, will they fall out of the container into my mouth? Let's Hope.

PS...Only 7 Days till the Izzy Birthday Celebration...keep the fan mail a comin'

Llama??? What is that?

Today my mom left really early.  She made me go outside to potty before I was even ready to crawl out of bed!  Then she came home all excited to tell me about LLAMAS.  She said that I reminded her of a llama.  What mom, seriously, we are the same color!  We do walk on four legs, but I don't spit!  My aunt told me that none of the llamas spit on her today, but Mia the llama did give her three kisses.  That just made my blood boil, no one else is allowed to kiss my aunt-especially not a llama.  Who did she think she was. The best part of the story is that after the llama llkissed my aunt, she started sneezing uncontrollably and had itchy watery eyes...I told her she should demand an allergy test.  Hmmmmmm could she be allergic to llama llkisses?  How convenient.

This cutie (that's what my dad says) is named Geves.  I think he especially likes him because of his name-that's his nickname too.

This llama and I are making the same face!  I sympathize with you buddy,  I try to ignore my mom too.  Mom, DO NOT get any ideas, I do not want that thing around my nose.

This particular llama llfriend is so cute.  My mom loved his ears.  I don't know what is so special about his ears, I do that with mine when I hear the word icecream.  I just can't make them any longer, but mom you could paint them a different color if you wanted.

After hearing about the llamas, I had to wonder why I was not invited...then it hit me.  I could not have participated because I could so jump over hurdles and walk through a tent.  I could let my mom lift my hind legs (without kicking her).  I'm not really sure about the pack on my back-Eskies are a little too delicate for carrying things on their backs.  I could have been the best of show!

Everywhere I look, I see SENIORS!!!

But listen my peeps, I LOVE IT!  Seniors are my favs because they let me in.  Almost all of them let me in on the actions.  I love checkin out the props, the poses, and most of all the outfits! Yesterday and today...only seniors!  We started with Rebecca.  She told me I was Beee-u-tiful!  I looked just like Morgan...you know, I might want to meet Morgan someday.  I'm kinda sad that I didn't get a photo op with Becca, but I did get lots of attention from her and her mom and sister.  Her photos are very pretty!  I loved Becca's blue eyes, I'm wishin my eyes were blue too!

Then I met Travis...he had the coolest guitar!  Loved the Yin Yang.  My paws could've showed him a thing or two about the guitar.  I was thinking...a little Jagger, a little Hendrix, Clapton, or a little Elvis?  I watched my mom, dad. Aunt Kristy, and Aunt Val play guitar hero, so I have confidence that I could do it!

Today...Jake, if only I could play that many instruments!

Let me tell you about this photo....Aunt Kristy, what were you thinking?  Why would you snap a photo when I had a bone in my mouth?  I look ridiculous!  This is me and my first senior of the day!  My mom taught his little sister when she was in fourth grade...she knew me as a wee pup...just arriving at my mom's pad.  Just learning how to use the potty outside, etc etc.  So you see, this is even more embarassing to have my mouth full in this photo-you know because she has known me since I was a mere 4 pounds.

I wish that I could fit my paws in pumps like Kelsey today!  These photos are me and my friend Kelsey.  She was kind enough to allow me in two photos.  Actually I just kept placing myself in them, and she smiled at me so sweetly, I just want to lick her face.  In the top photo, Aunt Kristy, seriously?  First I'm eating, then my butt?  If only I had knows, I would have washed behind my tail.  It was all good until Aunt Kristy told me these photos weren't about me...do you see my irritated look as I left the backdrop?  What?  Look at her face...SHE WANTED ME in her pics!  No yearbook is complete without my ears!

Wow, I kinda surprised Emily in this photo!  Going somewhere?  Everytime my mom gets suitcases out, I end up at Grandmas for a visit!  My paws are staying on these suitcases, that is for sure.  Em, maybe you will take me with you since my whole family left me at home last week while they were on vacation!  By the way, I loved the earrings.  I wonder how those big tear drops would look in my ears.  What do you think?

Well good night my peeps.  I'm going to get some rest...I'm dreaming of new poses.

Congrats to Aunt Val!

Alrighty, my peeps.  I'm back!  It's been awhile since I wrote about TeaRose because my mom and my aunt went on a mini-vacation with my best friend and my dad and they LEFT ME HOME!  I would have enjoyed being away too, but I guess someone had to watch over my aunt Renee.  It was a big job, but I did it.  We had lots of work to do.  We edited pictures and talked on the phone so much.  I helped her fill all the orders and ran them out to the customers as they came in.

I'd like to tell you about the mini-vaca and all my presents, but they decided to make it a summer stop...so I can't be giving away clues here!  My aunt and my mom photographed two weddings the weekend they came home...it is been a bit crazy. They also took photos of the cutest little girl.  She was so nice to me, she gave me lots of cookies.

About the weddings...my mom and aunt Kristy drove to Deep Creek, MD for my aunt Val's wedding.  I didn't get to go, although they told me there were random dogs running through the ceremony!  I could have protected everyone if only they would have taken me. It might have gotten a little noisy during the ceremony with me yelling at those dogs!  I'm glad the girls got to go...they told me all about the nice families and relaxing atmosphere of the lake.  It was nice that they got to get away from all the hustle of Greensburg.  I was a little jealous that I didn't get to eat Mrs. M's cupcakes.  The homemade raspberry filling left my mom and aunt Kristy wanting a second!  They kept saying, "I really wanted another, but I didn't want to look like a pig."  I told them that it was silly that they didn't just eat another-who cares if you look like a pig.

Here are a few of the cool pictures from the day.  Only my aunt Val ( the tree hugger? LOL!) would want to drive away on a jet ski!

Well peeps, I will talk later.  Have a good night, RUFF! It is great to be back!

Just a reminder how cute I am!

Happy Birthday to You...

Today was an adventure at TeaRose.  I listened to a preview with a senior friend and two photo shoots with little kids.  I really didn't need to make them smile and from all the noise, I decided to just stay under my Aunt Renee's desk.  Their photos were so great, but some are surprises, so I don't want to spoil the surprise by posting the photos on my blog.  Then there was my best friend's Super Star Party!  Yes, it was the day I had been waiting for for a long time.

This is my and my best buddy in the whole world.  She looks so pretty don't you think?

I was so excited as I watched the studio transform into every little girl's dream place.  You see during parties, the lights go down, the music goes up, and the children get fancy.  They all get their hair done however they want it done, and then they get make up.  By the time they are ready, the girls look so fabulous.  I usually stay in my work room because I get nervous around lots of people like that.  Through the door, I heard squeals of excitement as the girls posed for glamour shots.  They always have pizza (tonight I got to share some) and cake...YUM!  There were no minty bones at this party, but I kept reminding myself that it wasn't MY party.

All the girls get to take home their own photo souvenir.  Let me tell you, some of the outfits that the girls put together would give Giorgio Armani ideas!  Check them out!
This is me and my wand.  I was waving it to make sure that Abby had the best party ever.  I just know it worked!

This is me and my sunglasses.  I wanted to be just like the girls.  I couldn't get them to fit right, but I looked good anyway.  The color orange really works with my eyes, don't you think?

I'm sure that Ab had a great birthday, and I was glad that my studio was a part of making her so happy.  Thanks to Ab with and E...I didn't have to work so hard because she helped set up and clean up.  I was home before 11 thanks to her help!  Good Nite my peeps.  I don't mind if you look at my photos again.  I won't tell anyone!

My day at the DUMP

When I say dump, I know what you're thinking...that's not what I mean peeps.  You'll find out later why my day included the dump...and no, I wasn't looking for my missing raw hide.  These last two days have been busy for me, but the good news is...I have almost left on time two days in a row.  I met lots of new friends.  My friend came in for some pictures...she deserves a modeling job.  She knows just what to do for the camera!  I know that if I keep my ears up, she will find something.  She is so sweet and nice and she talks a lot to me!  I really like her..she makes me smile.  I also met her little brother.  He really like Jioios and was headed there...but he forgot to take me for some pizza pie!

Then I met Gra and her family!  She was as adorable as Izzy.  She loved her great-grand baby so much that I had to remind her to look at the camera for a few.  That's okay, that is my job as a photographer dog...that's why I get paid the big minty bones after all.  Don't these photos just make you smile?

Then there was my trip to the dump.  My mom had a vision with a 6 ft ladder.  The final photo will be cropped in for effect, but for today I just wanted to showcase the dump!  In here are the most smelly things I can think of...most dogs would devour this, however me being a civilized (somewhat spoiled) dog would not find myself eating from the dump.  I much prefer lettuce, broccoli, and carrots.  Even in my appearance on Fear Factor, I didn't make it thought the dumpster challenge.  We really enjoyed Ryan...he was funny and made us laughed a lot!  You looked really cool with your tie by the way.

Today I spent a lot of time in with Aunt Renee.  You see the lil man turning three did some yelling, and that scared me!  I hid under the desk.  He was beating a toy drum...rat tat tat...over and over again in my ears.  I would close my eyes and then I would hear it AGAIN.  The girls decided to put blocks in a barrel...any idea how loud that is in a doggie's ears?  We dogs do have acute hearing you know...I could have heard that ruckus a mile away, let alone a few feet away.  Good thing he is so darn cute.

I got to come home on time and have homemade pizza with my best friend.  I also got to play rummy with my friend!  Tomorrow I'm the big dog at work.  It will be exhausting playing boss since my mom and my dad are going on a date!  Look out Aunt Kristy and Aunt Renee...we will be working by Izzy's rules.  I can be bribed with minty bones and chicken-but LOTS OF IT!  (Mom I have heard the saying 'while the cat is away the mice will play')  Me and my aunts are out of that place at two...you know to head straight to PetSmart and buy me a toy with my overtime pay.  Good night peeps...until tomorrow...TGIS...(Thank Goodness it's Saturday!)

Seniors, Seniors, Seniors

Today was a day for seniors!  I met 2 in one day!  I thought of some new poses that I told the girls about so that they were ready for Alyssa and Taylor.  I wanted something different...kinda like the new toy I got from PetSmart the other day.  It was different, it was a lion with big multi colored hair.  His hair resembled a snow cone and made me extra hungry.

Anyway, back to my day at TeaRose.  My day started out meeting Alyssa, just as I was allowed to come and play...they all went outside!  I stood at the door looking out at my big camouflage buggy driving off into the distance.  I used my best big puppy dog eyes to go for a ride, but I didn't get to go.  Here are a few of Alyssa's gorgeous photos.
I told the girls to take a close up along the fence.  I'm glad to see they listened.

I really wanted to give Alyssa a big doggie smooch, but I resisted.

After awhile my girls became hungry.  I wondered what took so long.  I was so excited to hear the wrapper for cheese!  I was extremely disappointed when the girls had wraps with homemade pesto from Uncle Dom and I had none!  I thought my aunt Kristy could only eat chicken...then I find out that she is allowed turkey.  TURKEY???  This little D-O-G cannot (isn't allowed) have turkey.  I decided that even though I couldn't have turkey, I could still have cheese.  My mom broke it to me that the cheese was Swiss!  Gosh Aunt Kristy this stomach of yours is really an inconvenience for me.  You were my hook up with Land O'Lakes American cheese.  Don't even think I'm eating your Veggie Slices that's more disgusting that Swiss.  Anyway, I guess I looked pathetic because my mom walked me over to grandmas.  Thank goodness she had cheese for me.

When I returned to work after my snack, I met my next friend.  She had hair that was as pretty as mine.  Although, it made me want to go red.  I think that she uses great shampoo like me!  I helped with Tayler's photo shoot today.  I had to watch and make sure that the girls were following my directions with Tayler.

That's right Aunt Kristy-no a little to the left-now, have her sit right there!

I had so much fun with Tayler.

Can I mom, Tayler said that I could!

Don't we look great together?

Alright at that point I realized that it wasn't my day.  I had my cameo and now here are some of Tayler!  She looks great! I especially love the one with the ugly blue thingie that was in the yard!

Well my peeps, Izzy is going home now!  At least it is before 10!  Good Night All.  See you tomorrow for another fun filled day.  I hope I get to eat.

Summer Stop 7-My Secret Destination

I was excited to head to work today, after all I did get to rest yesterday.  I met the coolest friend today.  My friend Molly came to my studio for my expertise.  She wanted ME to tell her senior story, and boy was I excited.  She and her mom gave me treats and let me sit in on her photo shoot.  I was very good and acted like super dog on the floor just so that I could give the girls some advice.

Here is me whispering a secret to Molly about what to do next.   Of course she listened!

This photo is the final shot!  I love it, Molly! Good Job.

After Molly's photo shoot, my mom, dad, and my aunt went on a secret summer stop that I picked.  I have a craving for delicious grass and I knew that this spot had the best to eat.  Little did I know that it was so hot.  My mom forgot to bring me water, luckily I met a very nice lady from Hershey and she loved me.  She said, "Ooooooh, I just want to get a hold of that fluff ball!"  I was flattered to be referred to as a fluff ball, that meant that my hair was looking fine!  I replied to her "Ruff, ruff, ruff!"  That meant that I needed water.  She told me she had just the thing in her car.  Usually my mom doesn't let me take things from strangers, but seeing as the water was sealed and the lady was really nice, (and my irresponsible mom forgot!) she said okay.  The lady gave me water and a big scratch behind the ears!  It was heavenly.

Thank you, nice lady!  This water was so good.

Me, after my big drink of water.

We really had a great time today.  My dad decided he wanted a photo for his crazy blog. (He copied off of me big time and created a blog the day I did) So he posed for this photo like Tony Soprano...not sure that he looks Italian enough?  but whatever makes him happy.

I decided that since my dad needed a blog photo op, then I DID TOO!  I can't let him have one up on me.  So, I put myself on this bench without a leash.  I am a big girl these days.  I told my aunt that I did not want the Tony look, instead I was going for the famous beagle look.  I wanted to be like my pal Snoopy.  The only thing missing was a little yellow bird on my head...where is that Woodstock when you need him.

My parents stole my idea with the bench!  Seriously? Do they have to do everything I do?  Can't a little doggie just have one chance to be in the limelight without any humans copying?

I suppose their photo was nice...Below we sat at this cute little table.  Dad kept saying ice cream, Izzy where's the ice cream!  Does anybody see any?  I waited at the little table and never got any!

Well, my dad just had to have this photo that is above.  He thought I looked as if I was waiting for food.  I thought in my head, Dad, I never wait for food!  My mom gets it for me right away...but I guess hypothetically this is what I might look like if I was waiting for food.  This shot took about 6 times.  You see right behind me on the ground is my mom, and right in front of me is my aunt taking the photo and my dad getting my attention.  Right behind them is some man in a car watching!  I was totally showing off for him and every time my dad said "Where's the chicken, Izzy?"  I jumped onto the table and went toward him and then we started over.  I wanted to tell the man in the car to head to TeaRose and he could buy a photo of me, since he liked looking at me so much...

Finally, the last photo of the day!

Well peeps, I'm off to bed. It is way to late for a doggie to be awake...I need to go and dream of minty bones.  Until next time...good night!
