Recap Izzy Style

Hi my Peeps, I know you haven't heard from me lately.  There is really no excuse for my lack of writing.  I have had so much happen at work since I last blogged.  I decided that I need to share my feelings (my mom says maybe I won't bark so much that way.)  Some Cool Things that have happened in the past 6 months:

November: The TeaRose Stop and Shop!
Well, my opinion of this was a bit of irritation.  (Sigh) I tell my staff...all I want is a pet vendor!  Do you think it happened?  NO! A big negative from my pals at Clara's Collars...I guess I will have to stop in at the 4th of July.  I saved my earnings from all the cleaning and took myself straight to PetSmart after this event.

The Stop and Shop was a huge success.  Lots of giveaways from all our vendor.  Contact us if you are interested in being a vendor or reserving your spot as a guest.  Scheduled for NOVEMBER 4, 2012

December:
Dear Santa,
I have been a VERY good girl this year.  Please stop by my studio and pick up my letters.  I used an old minty bone container to scent them for you.  I have written one each day for the the whole month.  Oh yah, you can take these ones from these kids too.
Love, Izzy

My mom and my aunts jumped into my photo op with Santa.  Can you see the irritation on my Eskie face!  Seriously?????? This was my MOMENT!

January & February: I'm an Eskimo dog and there is very little snow! What's a girl to do?  I was counting on it, and it didn't come.  What did come during these months? I know you are wondering.  Babies...babies...kids...and weddings.  I had to assist in more sessions this month than ever.  Kids, why do you need me to smile?

March: Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail
I helped us to have a Hippity Hoppity time.  Let me tell you, that bunny has nothing on me! Did you see her tail?  My tail curves and is way cuter.  Miles, yours was too.  Next year, I suggest we just forget the bunny and have the children sit on my lap!

Check out my pink necklace people!  I love it!

April: Cuteness, Glamour, and my new bath supplies
First, my buddy Miles came in.  He brought his friend Petey.  I was a little peeved because I thought I was Miles' only bud.  Petey kinda resembles the little dog that is on my food.  Yes, that is right after that...all I could think about was lunch!

That brings us to Glamour...My favorite Miss Pittsburgh (Stephanie) hosted quite the party.  I was a bit upset that I was not invited to the Release Party for Gladys Magazine.  I got to stay with the coolest babysitter in the world.  My mom and dad let me in on the photo shoot before they left.  Check out a few pics from the big event.

May: The Studio was hopping!  Kicking off the Class of 2013 with Jimmy.   We had quite a variety of events...weddings. birthday parties. my aunt kristy's birthday. cinco de mayo. mother's day mini sessions.  It is all a bit overwhelming for a dog to handle.  It does mean LOTS of overtime for me!

Which brings us to now.  Thank you very much Blue Angels....you have successfully ruined my peaceful atmosphere.  I can't pee, sleep, or anything without thinking of giant planes with awful sounds.  I AM RUINED! My aunt is ready to go and buy me a Thunder Jacket.  I just do not think it will go with my white coat.  They only make them in boring black.  I hate planes these days.  I worry everytime I hear one taking off.  Spirit is it really necessary to fly so often? I do not get to go to Myrtle, Orlando, or Atlantic City.

Check out my video of the Show.

Talk to you later my friends!
XOXOXOX,
IZZY

I Ruv Fall!

Hi My Peeps,

It seems like ages since I have been on to tell you my side of the story at my studio!  You see, my mom went back to school.  I get a little sad when that happens...I have to tell her good bye in the morning after our walk around the block and I have to share her with the pint sized students!  I prefer to have her to myself, making me doggie breakfast and lounging with me at the house.  I promise I'm back on track now that I'm a bit adjusted again!  Things at my studio have been great (sorry mom, the girls can do it without you all day long!)  Aunt Kristy has been trying to keep my busy-she's been driving me to PetSmart...and yes she believes I am a small child.  I highly recommend the flick- Spooky Buddies!  It really got me into the Halloween Spirit!

This is my costume a few years ago!  Am I not the cutest?  Who wouldn't want to be stung by the Izzy Bug?

This is the Izzy inspired pumpkin that my mom and Abby (my BFF) made me last year!  I love looking at the ears!

This is me on Halloween last year. I will allow kids and fur-kids into my studio for Halloween!  I don't mind taking photos for the holiday season.

I am sooooooooo excited for the Halloween Spook-tacular!  I wonder if I am getting a monster manicure from Aunt Melissa?  I am imagining a purple feather in with my white beautiful hair.  I have my costume all ready...shhhhhhhhh, I'm not telling what I am yet, but in a few days, I'll post a few Halloween pics for all of you to see.  Here's a clue-they are BIG, STINKY, and they YAWN a lot...no dad, I'm not you this Halloween.  Check out my aunt Renee's latest composite.

I helped my mom and my aunt (and dad) decorate the studio for fall!  It looks so awesome and smells like cinnamon pumpkins.  I can't wait for you all to see it!  I also learned that my gramma went shopping today.  She bought cool ribbon and special glue to put the finishing touches on the fridge magnets that we are giving away!

See you all Soon!

So much fun at Linn Run

Our most recent summer stop was my most favorite by a land slide!  I loved everything about Linn Run from the shaded trees at our arrival to watching all the kids slide on the slippery slide.  The woods were so nice and cool even though the day was hot.  I immediately went to the water and got a big drink.  Wouldn't you know my mom actually thought to bring me water on a day when we head to a stream filled with natural water that she let me walk in.  I really didn't need the water bottle today, mom.

Abby was a bit scared of the water at first.  I showed her that there was nothing to be afraid of and walked right in!  It was freezing on my little pads of my feet and I was so surprised that I kind of froze.  I lifted one paw out of the water like I do in the snow to warn it up.  I looked at my mom hoping she would rescue me, but all she did was snap a photo!
Mom, can't you lend a doggie a paw and get me out of the freezing water?

I trotted back the path and lots of children were walking toward me with towels and bathing suits.  They had huge rings that looked like giant donuts...I love donuts, I wondered if they tasted as good as the little ones.  I also was curious why I didn't have to wear my bathing suit or bring my towel and I wondered where we were going.  After a few minutes, we got to this giant slippery rock.
I said, "Don't worry Abby, I'll go first"  Even though I was scared, I didn't want to show it...so I just went in feet first so my best friend wouldn't be scared.  If Scooby can do it for Shaggy, then I can do it for Abby...Aunt Kristy had Izzy snacks in her pocket.  I just knew if I was a good girl, then I would get a snack.

Abby got the hang of it quickly thanks to me.

Once Abby got in, we just couldn't get her out...I loved watching her having so much fun.  Seeing your best friend happy, just warms a doggy's heart.  I felt so proud.

Abby and I can't wait to go back here!

Even the big kiddos had fun...I guess I could share a few of them...if you don't want to see, just go find more photos of me, you can skip this part if you want.

Aunt Theresa whined as Uncle Mark carried her across...she wasn't in the mood to get wet.

Fun with the girls...

Do you see a white doggie at the zoo? Summer Stop 3

Who wants to look at an elephant butt?  My white butt is much cuter.

My mom picked the summer stop for her birthday.  I thought it would be a nice picnic in the park with her best pal-me!  Then I heard the words "ZOO!"  "Wow, this is going to be awesome." I thought.  I always wanted to meet lions, tigers, and bears oh my!  I have heard that I look like a polar bear, but then she said in her sweet tone, "Izza, baby.  Can you be a big girl and get into your crate?"  I looked at her with my biggest puppy dog eyes...that didn't work.  Then, I cocked my head and gave her THE LOOK!  When that didn't work, I looked at my dad and my aunt pleading with one of them to stay home.  Then I heard cars...my best friend arrived, it was Abby!  I thought for sure she would have stayed with me...no luck.  I reluctantly trudged up the stairs and got into my crate knowing that the photos from this stop would not be nearly as beautiful as the ones with me the week before.

Lucky for me, my gramma came and picked me up and took me to her house for extra minty bones from she and grandpap!  That made my sad heart feel much better.  We even went for a ride on the buggy.  After all was said and done, the photos were nice, but they could have been nicer with me!

Like I said...who wants to look at a giraffe in the background and not an Izzy?

The penguins can stay warm like me, although they are not as cute.

These are my friends at the zoo without me.  They do look like they are having fun.

Summer Stop 2-My First Appearance

I was so excited to head out on a summer shoot!  Finally, they threw the dog a bone, and I got to go.  As my mom, my aunts, and Abby walked away from the car, camera in hand let me tell you about me!  My nose was pressed to the window and I was stuck sitting on my dad's lap!  Not fair...he was making me listen to the Coffee House on XM radio...enough to put any dog to sleep.  I could have been a part of these cool photos!  I would not have walked on the road, Abby is younger than me and she got to go!

Finally, a place that Izzy can go...however this day was about 90 degrees.  Do you notice who does not have shoes on in this photo...Have you even walked down a railroad track in that heat?  It was so hot, and they tied a bandana around my neck!  I'm an eskie, I do not need more covering me.  My Aunt Theresa picked this spot, however the tracks were shiny.  I didn't know what that meant until we heard the train as we drove away!  YIKES!
Just when I thought we were going to Gramma's for dinner, we pulled into Family Video!  The crazies decided to take some downtown Latrobe photos.  At least I was included.  Do you know what it is like to be under the train tracks when the train is going by?  As people drove by, they probably thought that I was the only sane one...My Aunts and Abby were "seeing, hearing, and speaking no evil, " my dad was too busy striking his best pose for his profile pic, and my mom was trying to take all the photos and watch me at the same time!  All I wanted to do was get away from that train!  What a terrible racket it was making above my head.  I kept running toward the car, but it was useless until they were finished.

This was a nice family pic...I'm smiling because the train had already passed!

Here he is...Mr. GQ!  Nice photo Dad, you look good. (Although good thing I take after my mom)

I don't really need to say anything about this craziness.
