I'm Dreaming of Fan Mail

Ahhhh, with my rapidly approaching birthday, I'm anxiously awaiting more fan mail to be sent to TeaRose...My birthday is less than one week away.  Reminder, I am going to be whole hand.  My day started out a little stormy today.  My mom turned on a big fan to try and disguise the sound of the thunder-IT DIDN'T WORK.  I felt as though I was being attacked and paced my mom's bedroom.  I was guarding her!  Then before I knew it she was up and in the shower.  I was a little ticked, but then I remembered that she is back to school.  That means I need to start getting up early again ( I like to share breakfast with her).  I'm not really very happy about this new change in my regular schedule.  I went back to bed...my aunt came in and asked me if I was ready to Go?  I put my head back down.  I thought to myself, "The storm has stopped...can't a dog get any rest around here?"  She proceeded to pick me up and put me in the car.  Again, I thought, "More Work?"

I was greeted by 2 seniors today.  I really wasn't much up to working, so I let my employees do the work with Lauren.  She was a serious shopper with cool shoes.  It's a shame I was so tired, we really would have gotten along.  I think her favorite store was Juicy...hmmmmm I like that as long as it refers to a steak. She gave me a great idea for my next centerfold.  Just picture it...Izzy on the green fancy couch, surrounded by PetSmart bags.  I would add a small toy Loofa in my mouth just for effect.

Next I met Leigha.  I tried to be pleasant, but the good Izzy just wasn't coming out today.  I yelled and yelled at my mom for leaving me all day!  I did get to help with one shot and play my game.  I took Leigha's shoe and waited for someone to come and find me.  I knew they would, and yes in case you were wondering, I did get a treat!

Aunt Kristy, did you want MY attention?  I'm kinda busy right now.  Leigha looked so pretty.  I was trying to talk her into getting into the swing....it really did work later.  I loved all her different outfit choices...

Well my peeps, I'm headed home.  I'm very sleepy, and can't wait to curl up on my mom's pillow.
Good Night all.

Happy Birthday to You...

Today was an adventure at TeaRose.  I listened to a preview with a senior friend and two photo shoots with little kids.  I really didn't need to make them smile and from all the noise, I decided to just stay under my Aunt Renee's desk.  Their photos were so great, but some are surprises, so I don't want to spoil the surprise by posting the photos on my blog.  Then there was my best friend's Super Star Party!  Yes, it was the day I had been waiting for for a long time.

This is my and my best buddy in the whole world.  She looks so pretty don't you think?

I was so excited as I watched the studio transform into every little girl's dream place.  You see during parties, the lights go down, the music goes up, and the children get fancy.  They all get their hair done however they want it done, and then they get make up.  By the time they are ready, the girls look so fabulous.  I usually stay in my work room because I get nervous around lots of people like that.  Through the door, I heard squeals of excitement as the girls posed for glamour shots.  They always have pizza (tonight I got to share some) and cake...YUM!  There were no minty bones at this party, but I kept reminding myself that it wasn't MY party.

All the girls get to take home their own photo souvenir.  Let me tell you, some of the outfits that the girls put together would give Giorgio Armani ideas!  Check them out!
This is me and my wand.  I was waving it to make sure that Abby had the best party ever.  I just know it worked!

This is me and my sunglasses.  I wanted to be just like the girls.  I couldn't get them to fit right, but I looked good anyway.  The color orange really works with my eyes, don't you think?

I'm sure that Ab had a great birthday, and I was glad that my studio was a part of making her so happy.  Thanks to Ab with and E...I didn't have to work so hard because she helped set up and clean up.  I was home before 11 thanks to her help!  Good Nite my peeps.  I don't mind if you look at my photos again.  I won't tell anyone!

Rain, Rain Go Away...

Rain, rain go away...go away so that Izzy can play.  I was singing that in my head all day long.  We were supposed to have senior photos today, but the rain scared them away.  I really don't blame them, I don't like the way my hair looks in the rain.  My tail gets a bit too curly and it looks like I have an 80s perm.  I certainly don't like to sit in the grass either.

Even though it was rain, it didn't scare my lil buddy away.  He was just about the cutest thing I have ever seen.  Although I was a little green when my Aunt Kristy was fawning a little too much calling him "the cutest little baby."  I THOUGHT I WAS THE CUTEST LITTLE BABY!  Did you forget, Aunt Kristy.  I thought... just wait until it's just you and me...that's when Izzy will strike.  In three weeks, my mommy heads back to school, at that point, you're MINE.  I will steal every 90210 DVD you own, eat every goldfish cracker in the house, and record over your favorite Reba on DVR.  Yes that's right the Halloween one...you know that one when Barbara Jean freaks out about watching all the CSI.  It's a goner!

Back to the baby.  He was cute although for his little bum photos he pooped on the blankie!  Seriously?  I was potty trained way younger than 2 weeks.  White Lace and Clyde (my doggie parents) taught me manners.  I told my mom, fire me if you want, but Izzy doesn't DO baby poop.  There are not enough minty bones in the USA to get me to clean that up.  Here are some of my favorites from the photo shoot!

Well my peeps, it is off to dream of pieces of chicken tonight.  I'm going through minty bone withdrawal.  My gramma decided that she is rationing them.  What's that about?  Just get more!  Good Night All.

Making my Clients Smile-That's my J-O-B!

Hi All, I know you are anxiously awaiting our summer stop inside scoop...the truth is, I'm just not quite ready to talk about it.  I'm still so sad that I can't bring myself to post about it yet.  Soon, my friends, soon.  I'll talk happiness right now.  What an awesome day I had today.  I was a little tired and I was enjoying my window, but I didn't mind heading to work-after all...I had yesterday off.

Today I had a very important job.  I helped one little girl brush her hair.  She didn't want her mom to make it look shiny.  So I stepped in.  I told her that I really don't like when my mom brushes my hair either, but how do you think I look sooooooooo good.  It does take work.  I was going to teach her how to make a really scary face (like you're going to bite your mom) when you get your hair brushed, but then I thought to myself..WAIT!  It doesn't work.  My mom just keeps brushing...so instead I just helped talk her into brushing her hair so that she could look like me.

They were really cute girls.  They fed me treats and chased me around the studio.  I picked up a giant baseball beanie and carried it around.  I thought to myself  (My mom went to the game last night and didn't take me, so I will just catch my own fly ball!)  I also said, "Look out Derrek Lee, I don't need to hit two homers, I just carry the ball and make people cheer!"

Also today I met another senior.  The Class of 2012 LOVES ME!  They let me into their photo shoots right and left.  Thanks for giving me my photo op today C!  I was really impressed with my TeaRose peeps.  They were super creative with the props that C brought!  Even my aunt Renee got in on the action...she had so much fun "making a SEA of shirts."  Aunt Renee this photo is almost as good as that chicken dish you made me for dinner tonight.  I love Tuesdays cause I get to see what is on the Aunt Renee Grill!

Hi C, Hi C, Hi C! Not the drink people!

Wow Aunt Renee, C is swimming in the Sea of Shirts.

Well my peeps, I'm heading home to try to edit the pics from the Summer Stop for all you guessers.  I hope to post them soon.  Night all.  Think of me in my bed dreaming of a sea of minty bones.

My day at the DUMP

When I say dump, I know what you're thinking...that's not what I mean peeps.  You'll find out later why my day included the dump...and no, I wasn't looking for my missing raw hide.  These last two days have been busy for me, but the good news is...I have almost left on time two days in a row.  I met lots of new friends.  My friend came in for some pictures...she deserves a modeling job.  She knows just what to do for the camera!  I know that if I keep my ears up, she will find something.  She is so sweet and nice and she talks a lot to me!  I really like her..she makes me smile.  I also met her little brother.  He really like Jioios and was headed there...but he forgot to take me for some pizza pie!

Then I met Gra and her family!  She was as adorable as Izzy.  She loved her great-grand baby so much that I had to remind her to look at the camera for a few.  That's okay, that is my job as a photographer dog...that's why I get paid the big minty bones after all.  Don't these photos just make you smile?

Then there was my trip to the dump.  My mom had a vision with a 6 ft ladder.  The final photo will be cropped in for effect, but for today I just wanted to showcase the dump!  In here are the most smelly things I can think of...most dogs would devour this, however me being a civilized (somewhat spoiled) dog would not find myself eating from the dump.  I much prefer lettuce, broccoli, and carrots.  Even in my appearance on Fear Factor, I didn't make it thought the dumpster challenge.  We really enjoyed Ryan...he was funny and made us laughed a lot!  You looked really cool with your tie by the way.

Today I spent a lot of time in with Aunt Renee.  You see the lil man turning three did some yelling, and that scared me!  I hid under the desk.  He was beating a toy drum...rat tat tat...over and over again in my ears.  I would close my eyes and then I would hear it AGAIN.  The girls decided to put blocks in a barrel...any idea how loud that is in a doggie's ears?  We dogs do have acute hearing you know...I could have heard that ruckus a mile away, let alone a few feet away.  Good thing he is so darn cute.

I got to come home on time and have homemade pizza with my best friend.  I also got to play rummy with my friend!  Tomorrow I'm the big dog at work.  It will be exhausting playing boss since my mom and my dad are going on a date!  Look out Aunt Kristy and Aunt Renee...we will be working by Izzy's rules.  I can be bribed with minty bones and chicken-but LOTS OF IT!  (Mom I have heard the saying 'while the cat is away the mice will play')  Me and my aunts are out of that place at two...you know to head straight to PetSmart and buy me a toy with my overtime pay.  Good night peeps...until tomorrow...TGIS...(Thank Goodness it's Saturday!)

Back to Work

What's up with all of you blog readers? No one is participating in my poll?  Don't you have a guess as to what my favorite treat is, or don't you care???
Can you say no to this face?  Please vote in my poll!!

My TeaRose employees took some great photos today.  I really wasn't allowed to be involved because mom thought I would distract the kids.  I'm usually only allowed out with the big kids....unless they can't get someone to smile, then they call in the big dog!!  Anyway, I was in with Aunt Renee listening to the photo shoot.  I could hear the giggles of the baby as she had her photo taken.  I know that her smiles are so natural because she was so happy!  I loved this cool picture with the blocks.

Isn't she so cute with her blocks?  I just want to lick that little face.

Thanks for not letting me down Aunt Renee.  Before I knew it, the smell of chicken entered my lil' sniffer.  I started sniffin the air to see what else I could smell.  Yum, I detected that there was pasta to go along with my chicken!  I was delighted because I am part Italian.  I devoured my chicken and barked for more and then, with a full belly I did what dogs do best-took a nap.

I was awoken to the sound of a familiar name.  My ears perked when I heard the mention of a famous dog detective-That's right, Scooby Doo.  Our little guy was a huge Scooby fan.  I told him all about my Scooby Snacks and how I love the pizza bites and the Zoink bones!  Just the thought of the Doo made my mouth water for my snacks...oh how I wish that I was already home to eat a few of those.  (You see I hide them in my crate because I am not always in the mood for those).  I heard the buggy go whizzing by and I knew that Brayden must be driving!  You lucky Dog!  I wished that I got to go along on the buggy.  I knew that he would want to drive and I just had a feeling that I wouldn't be able to share, so I stayed inside.  My mom told me that I can drive the buggy any day, I needed to give my new friend Brayden a turn.  I guess I kinda agree-I hate when my mom is right! Braden and his family had an awesome outside photo!

This is such a great photo.  Good job girls.

Well my peeps, it is much to late for this little doggy to be typing.  I'm off to dream of eating a minty bone cake...I wonder if Cinnabun could make that for my birthday!?

My Day Off...Painting and Playing

Hi my peeps, yesterday I had the day off.  I spent it at the park with some of my favs...Abbey and Mia!  We had so much fun running around the park taking cool photos on a hot day.  My dad treated us to ice cream because we were sooooo good.  I had a strawberry ice cream sandwich, my friend Abbey had a jolly rancher ice thingy, and Mia had the coolest bunny Popsicle.  We ate our ice cream under the trees before we went home.  Mia made up a doggie toy store with all my toys.  I thought it was really cool to see all my toys in one big pile...I felt like I was in PetSmart looking up the toy aisle, it was enough to make my tail wag really fast!

Then it started.  My dad always wants to be like me-I mean I am glad that I'm that cool, but dad, you really don't have a tail and a face like mine.  He kinda resembled a horse too...don't really know which he was going for...you decide.

Then they played monkey in the middle...literally!  How silly is that.  I just stood and watched, I just didn't know where to look.  My head felt like a ping pong ball.

After all this playing, I needed to relax in QUIET with no songs...I slept while my friends went to Super Panda, and when they came home we made hand print animals...they looked awesome.  I used my paws to help Mia paint, but I just didn't really want the paint in my paws, so I just helped my buddy.

This is my friend and her hand print penguin.  It is in a very colorful igloo (I gave her the idea of the igloo, it's like mine in the living room)
