A New Park with New Smells...Summer Stop 4

Well, I thought I knew every park around.  I spend my time at the local parks walking and barking at friends listening to my mom tell me that I should not be so loud.  First stop today, Subway.  My aunt and dad went in to get us all lunch and I waited in the car with mom letting the air conditioning blow my hair around listening to zumba music.  I smelled the sandwiches as soon as they got back into the car.  We drove for just a little and then I saw it!  Green everywhere!  I saw paths and flowers and I just wanted to explore it all.

We sat down behind the Nature Center and had a picnic.  I ate some sandwich and drank some water, but really I just looked around.  I found a nice spot and started digging.  I love to make dirt fly into the air and get my white paws dirty (but I'm not allowed to do that very often, my mom yells!)  It felt like time moved as slow as a snail, but finally it was time to walk around.  Believe it or not, we found the bathroom and we took like 100 photos there.  Everyone wanted thier photo at the bathroom??? I must say it was a cool texture and it did turn out to be a neat photo.
Seriously, have you ever seen such a nice potty?  Look at my big smile, I love my mom's new shoes.

After the bathroom, they all wanted to take pictures at the log house.

This is me and my aunt at that log house...cool leading lines, good job Mom!  It brings the focus right to me!  I was just so happy to be with my peeps that's why I'm smiling.

On the way there, we saw a bridge.  Yah, cool if you're a human and have shoes and big feet.  Not cool if you're a four legged friend and your tiny little paws slide down into crevices where other critters much smaller and scarier than I live.  I was so nervous on the bridge and my dad was trying to be a member of the Australian paparazzi and he kept putting me on the bridge.  (The Australian part comes from his accent when he wears the hat 2 photos above)

Little does he know, we are laughing about him!  Notice my ears are back because I did NOT LIKE THE BRIDGE, and they just didn't get it.

Next thing I know, we headed to the lake and then to see the birds.  There were bugs swarming around the water, I just wanted in...but of course my mom said NO!  She is just no fun outside, sometimes I wish I was not a white eskie cause then she wouldn't know when I was dirty.  They carried me up this giant wooden tower.  I felt like Rapunzel, but I didn't have a long enough tail to throw down to Oakley.(That's my doggie in shining armour.)

Notice my head, did somebody (like the Australian?) say "Gramma?"  or "Chicken?" or "Ice cream?"

My mom and my aunt grabbed a cool pic of their tennies...

Did I mention that this was a great day to be a dog?  I was so tired that for the final stop that Aunt Theresa picked, I just couldn't get out of the car.  I just sat in my seat letting the air blow again.

This is what I watched out the window, I just was making sure everyone was safe...

Until next time...

Summer Stops 1 (The REAL story)

Don't let the TeaRose Crew fool you-the awesome summer stop idea-yah, all my idea!  My aunt Kristy likes to take credit for it, but the only reason she thought of it was one day while she was watching old reruns of 90210 (she really likes to watch it) I sat on her head and used mental telepathy and repeated "summer stops" over and over again!  She told my mom and all of a sudden she took the credit for my wonderful idea!  I just wanted a way to get my photo all over our facebook page.  I mean how can I be in enough photos when I'm looking at the bottom of Aunt Renee's feet all the time while she edits other people's photos.  That's how it began...

Summer Stop 1:  Mt. Washington.  What a stupid idea!  I mean dogs are not allowed on the incline...When I heard they even ate outside at the Hard Rock Cafe, all I could envision was a juicy burger on MY plate (on the floor).  To top it off, they came home smelling of ice-cream! One of my most favorite treats in a cone...just saying that word makes me look and tilt my head!  The only good part about me not being invited on this trip was that I did not have to sit through Tornado Alley at the Science Center...I hate storms!
Here is a picture of my friend Abbey.  I did like the leading lines and the bright color of the bridge.

I really liked the way the girls took this photo with a fisheye lens.  I was proud to see all the bright colors!  Excellent work, although if I was there, I would have peeked over the railing and make the focal point of this photo me!
The only one missing in this beautiful photo is ME!!!!  Hello, don't you want a little white fluffy eskie here?
